Waxing

An effective choice for removing unwanted hair. Waxing removes hair by the root leaving your skin super smooth and hair-free for up to four weeks. Please be advised that you should avoid sun exposure and any heat treatments for at least two hours before waxing and twenty four hours afterwards. Please let us know if you are using Retin-A or Accutane.

  • Waxing pulls hair out at the root, or papilla causing it to take longer to grow back. Shaving shears hair in the middle at its thickest point, so it grows back blunt, thick and fast.
  • Waxed hair becomes finer and sparser over time.
  • Waxing helps remove dry surface skin cells which makes moisturizers more effective.
  • Waxing removes entire hair follicle. If kept up consistently year-round with repeated waxing it may result in weakened hair follicles so that many unwanted hairs no longer grow back.
